Second Session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC-Forests2)

Bonn, Germany, 3-7 September 2012

The Second Session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee for a Legally Binding Agreement on Forests in Europe (INC-Forests2) was held in Bonn, Germany on 3-7 September 2012.  The Committee undertook a first reading of the draft negotiating text for a legally binding agreement in Europe, providing general comments as well as concrete proposals. In addition to the plenary sessions, there was also in-depth discussion in two Working Groups. The final report will soon be available.
